Equine-Assisted Activities

We currently offer groundwork only lessons to individuals with special needs with the purpose of building life skills that will make a difference in their daily lives. Lessons are conducted by our highly trained instructors, certified by PATH Intl. and assisted by our team of dedicated volunteers.

These are the basic steps we ask of participants in order to join our program. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Jackie at jackie@blueskyacres.org.

  • You will be contacted by our Program Director with more information about our program. Please note that we are limited in our capacity for this program, so we appreciate your patience!

  • We believe in the importance of relationship! For this reason, we begin each participant with a six week session on the ground with our horses before evaluating their readiness to begin therapeutic riding.
