Our Story

Like many of those who show up at Blue Sky Acres, the organization itself began with very little—just relationships, shared vision and a sense of calling.

In the early days, our team grew close around a simple desire: to serve our community and trust God with what we didn’t yet have. That was the origin of the name “Blue Sky Acres” because when we dream with God, the Sky truly is the Limit.

Getting started was not easy. We faced many challenges along the way, including limited resources and several moves between locations. There were many moments where the future was unclear and the next step wasn’t obvious.

But through it all, we kept coming back to the same place: prayer. Week after week, we showed up, trusting that God was at work even when we couldn’t see the outcome.

God’s Provision of the Land

Over time, God brought the right resources and relationships at just the right moments. Through much prayer and faith, we were able to purchase our own 43-acre property, a place where Blue Sky Acres could finally take root and grow.

This land has become a space for healing, learning, and transformation. Every horse, every participant, and every volunteer who steps onto this property becomes part of a story we believe God is still writing.

Because of what we’ve seen God provide here, we trust that He has a purpose and plan for every person who comes through Blue Sky Acres.

A Continuing Story

Blue Sky Acres is still unfolding. What began as a small group of people with a shared burden has become a place shaped by faith, perseverance, and provision.

And we believe the story is far from finished.
