Praises and Prayers-January 2022

This month, we are starting a new post that will showcase at least one testimonial and a list of prayer requests related to our ministry and those who partner with us. Prayer is truly the bedrock of this organization and we are so thankful for all of you who are committed to keeping us in prayer. Please consider joining us in prayer for this ministry and our county at noon on Tuesdays, whether you can attend our prayer time at Grace Community or not!

Praises

This month's testimonial comes from Tina Bragg, who owns the property where we operate. Her son was in an accident a couple of weeks ago and had to be taken by ambulance to Camp Lejeune. The BSA staff and board rallied around in taking care of the horses while Tina was up there with her son, but more importantly, we surrounded the family with prayer.

Here are the updates we received from Tina, which are such a testimony to God's healing power!

Day after the accident: "Update on Joshua: He has a messed-up ear. But it will heal. He's very blessed. No broken bones they think (later it was discovered he didn't have a single broken bone!). The steering wheel punctured his lung. He's on a little oxygen but not breathing for him. They are inflating his lung so it can heal...They said whoever picked his choice of car saved his life!"

Several days later: "Once again prayers were answered and apart from the stitches in his side and a few scratches on his face, you wouldn't know that he got into a bad wreck. Truly blessed, a miracle really...They thought he was going to be in the hospital for 4-5 days but the lung healed so fast that he was back to work the Tuesday, the same day as we came home. Light duty but he didn't miss a day"

Prayers

Here are some specific requests that we have been praying for this month and would love for you to join us in:

  1. Pray for our upcoming golf tournament, which will take place on March 11th, that God will draw the right teams to sign up for it!
  2. Pray for the acres that God has prepared for us, we continue to hold on to the promise He has given, "I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’” Ezekiel 37:14
  3. Pray that we will continue to connect with the people that God would have us to network with
  4. Pray for the community of Effingham County, our desire is that Blue Sky Acres will not simply operate independently but will make a difference in the community
