In Memory of Shadow

It is with both sadness and gratitude that we share the passing of our beloved horse, Shadow.

This week, Shadow peacefully passed away after a long life well lived. Due to complications related to old age and heart issues, it became clear that it was time to let her rest. While our hearts are heavy, we are deeply thankful that her final days were surrounded by love and compassionate care.

Shadow was a faithful partner in the mission of Blue Sky Acres. Through her gentle spirit, she helped countless children, volunteers, and visitors experience confidence, healing, and joy. She had a quiet way of making people feel safe, and her impact will continue to live on in the lives she touched.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who loved, cared for, sponsored, and prayed for Shadow throughout her life. Your support allowed her to serve our community with dignity and to receive the excellent care she deserved in her later years.

As we grieve this loss, we also celebrate the gift of Shadow's life. We believe that every season is in God's hands, and we are thankful for the time we were blessed to share with her.
